My journey as a storyteller began long before I picked up my first camera. It began in a small dance studio at the age of five, where I was first taught the healing beauty of movement and the ways in which we can express ourselves without the use of words. Here, and throughout an eighteen-year-long dance career, I was witness to the impact movement and lighting can have in the act of storytelling. When photography was introduced to me, I discovered many similarities and fell instantly in love with this powerful medium. My dance foundation has strongly influenced my ability to capture movement in the still image and over time what I felt to be two distinct worlds I lived in, movement and content creation, have begun to find their way to each other.

What started as an alternate form of expression, quickly turned into a calling, and I decided to pursue post-secondary education in Montreal, where I delved into the world of fine art photography. I later returned to Vancouver to attend the Commercial Photography program at Langara College and most recently the Documentary Film program at Capilano University. Both my photography and videography work takes a documentary-style approach and through it I hope to capture the essence and story of the people and brands I work with.

When she is out of the “office”, you can surely find me scaling a mountain in Vancouver’s beautiful backyard, salsa dancing, tending my sweet garden or traveling to new lands.

Thank you for being here, and allowing me to share with you a piece of my story and how my path led me to this impactful medium. I can’t wait to tell your story.
